Appealing a Refused Pharmacy Market Entry Application

When making an appeal, all of the above points need to be refuted with evidence (SOPs, clinical tools etc), in addition, to avoid a second rejection one must highlight the following attributes of the application:
  • the proposed premises were not adjacent to or in close proximity to other chemist premises
  • the premises of the Applicant are not on the same site or in the same building as the premises of a provider of primary medical services with a patient list
  • all essential services were likely to be secured without interruption during the opening hours
  • all essential services were likely to be secured for persons anywhere in England
  • all essential services were likely to be secured in a safe and effective manner
  • all essential services were likely to be secured without face to face contact

We can aid you in any appeals that you wish to submit, however, first, we highly recommend that you read the NHS Resolution's Guidance Note for Parties Involved In Pharmacy Appeals, then contact us for more information.
