New Service Risk Assessment

A new service risk assessment is a document which is used to analyse whether a new service would be beneficial for the organisation to adopt.

Key factors to analyse include:

  • Strengths - what inherent strengths of the service are there? Does the service provider have clinical customer support? Are they available 24/7?
  • Weaknesses - are there other service providers who could offer a better service?
  • Opportunities - how will you patients benefit from the service? Will the new service be complimentary to common chronic ailments such as diabetes and asthma?
  • Threats - what are the inherent risks involved in the new service? How can these be mitigated?
